McLaren × Gulf — Monaco 2021
2021
A self-initiated project inspired by McLaren’s one-off Gulf livery created for the 2021 Monaco Grand Prix, celebrating the historic relationship between two of motorsport’s most recognisable brands.
Inspired by the return of the iconic Gulf blue and orange colour scheme, I created a commemorative poster centred around the MCL35M. Starting from photographic reference, I manually reconstructed the car through an extensive network of individual vector shapes, translating its complex surfaces, reflections and mechanical details into a polygon-based illustration.
The project combines my interest in Formula One with an exploration of precision, visual simplification and detailed vector-based image construction.
